A strange silence fell upon the New York restaurant world this spring. Joe Dobias quit Twitter. The chef/owner of the East Village's JoeDoe attracted a lot of attention for his tempestuous Tweets, and I was one of many who enjoyed seeing what he'd say next. Yet I'm happy for the quiet, only so Dobias can now let his cooking do the talking. And there's certainly a point of view to his "Aggressive American" cuisine:
